Florida Children's Museums

We went here for free! Thanks to my dad and sister for gifting us a Des Moines Science Center pass last year, we've been able to visit children's museums in other states for free or at a steep discount. There are two children's museums in the Tampa Bay area, Great Explorations in St. Pete and Glazer in Tampa. We visited both and the boys had a great time. The Glazer Children's Museum in Tampa even had a penny crusher, so M was very excited to add that to his collection. I love giving the boys mini science lessons as we visit the children's museums. We often spot things that I would've taught in my 8th grade class. See if you can find it in the pictures below! Our next location for travel nursing is below the pictures.

We're headed back to Rapid City, SD!! We loved it so much we wanted to return. We did look at other locations, but the market has become increasingly competitive. Rapid City is offering an excellent contract and the option for us to stay up to 11 months. Our current plan (always subject to change) is to stay in Rapid through October. We're then hoping for one location and headed back to the Des Moines area...hopefully on some newly purchased land. I resigned from my teaching job with the plan to stay home with the boys another year and reevaluate from there. I have really enjoyed homeschooling the boys and being outside for the majority of the day. This traveling experience has been an incredible blessing.
