Old Macdonald's Farm

Sad story, X stabbed the back of his throat with a hard plastic reusable straw on Saturday and the poor guy had the hardest time eating and drinking. Sunday wasn't much better, so instead of church and childcare for him, we went to Old Macdonald's Farm as a distraction. I listened to church online and this ended up being one of M's favorite places. He keeps asking to go back. X was a little out of it Sunday, but EZ took the boys back on Monday and I think he had a better time. With admission, you can attend 3 days in a row, but otherwise it can be pricey. Pony rides and train rides cost extra. It is one big petting zoo, with quarter dispensers to feed the animals. They also let you bottle feed animals and have a fun pig race a couple times of day. If you plan a visit here, get there early! They have a set schedule for feedings and train rides, and you don't want to miss it. You can get $1 per person off of admission with a pamphlet (can be found at other local attractions or hotels). We also saved dollars by doing $2 for feeding instead of a $5 cup of food with $4 refills. We paid for both boys to ride the ponies our second day, and I was shocked X and even M weren't scared in the least bit to hop on a horse.

This beauty was my favorite!!!

Really glad M got over the pant eating goat fear...I never should've shown him that video!
