Storybook Island
This was such a fun place! It is FREE to enter, but they do accept donations to maintain the park. They have a train and a carousel which cost $3 per rider. I was required to pay and ride with X due to his height/age. It took us 2 hours to get through this park. They do not allow outside food/drink (not that anyone was checking). We packed our lunch to eat on the ride home. It is semi shaded and definitely stroller friendly. There is plenty of parking and even when it is busy, plenty of space. I will let the pictures tell most of the story because the structures were so fun! X's favorite was the helicopter and M's was the train. The "end" of the park has a 5 & younger area with swings and small structures. We loved the tandem swings and all piled on!
So many great climbing opportunities and nooks and crannies. Everything here was great for 2 year-olds which is sometimes hard to find!
I think opportunity is everything we could have wished for!
The three little pigs! M tried to climb up the chimney.
X also loved the water fountains and ended up pretty wet by the end of it!

You might be a future gardener if...you steal basil and dill from other gardens you walk by and can name half the plants in the garden. People keep asking M if he is entering Kindergarten and we've started to say no, we are homeschooling instead of giving our whole spiel about being travelers for a year then holding him back. He really is being homeschooled with the activities we are able to do!!
