Goodbye November!

Hi...it's been awhile! We've been busy doing mundane things and I joked with my cousin that no one  wants to read about us going to Target...or Petco to look at random animals. The boys think it's the equivalent to a zoo. M has been doing all the Christmas crafts and X has been requesting his own homeschooling activities to be like bubba. We've been meeting up with a home school group weekly and just told them all goodbye today as we head into our last week in Roanoke. I cannot believe how the time has flown! We had EZ's parents visit for Thanksgiving, ran in the local Drumstick Dash, visited M's favorite, the Science Museum, and toured Mill Mountain where we could see EZ's hospital from a trail that wrapped behind the zoo. We snagged a great picture with Nonnie and Papa  in front of the star and with the view of downtown Roanoke thanks to some cookie bribery. We also (between the 4 of us) had the flu pretty much their whole trip! Thankfully everyone recovered quickly.

After EZ's parents left, we drove to Lynchburg to meet my old college roommate and her sweet family! We visited Amazement Square, a children's museum, and had the best time! We were even able to stop at a gas station called Little Apple (that we had driven by previously on the way to Lottie J Farm) and ride with Lowly in his Apple Car. X lost it after this point because he was so tired and we were driving in the middle of his nap. We made it home alive and everyone has caught up on sleep since.
